Kamado Testimonials |
My wife and I live in a beautiful condo with a terrace overlooking a spectacular ocean view. Our balcony, with the beautiful cobalt blue Electric Kamado #3, complements both our balcony and the complex. TO us, aesthetics is as important as function and agree that our Kamado is "function patio art". - George A. I have barbequed at our home with charcoal for over 30 years. After retiring, we moved to a condo that does not allow "open flames" and that includes charcoal or gas. Now I know about withdrawl pains! I just can't imagine not having the flavor etc. of barbequing or grilling. I am well beyond thanking my friend who recommended the Electric Kamado. My EK3 is making the best BBQ I've ever made. The key is the heavy ceramic walls keeping the heat in AND adding a little hickory or other smoking wood to add just the deesired smoking or charcoal flavor. - Nick N. I certainly concur with the comment in the First Newsletter when it said, "Because of the economic of our time right now, we understand how people are tightening their budgets by not going out to eat and staying home. Well what better way to etertain your friends and family, or just by yourself by using the EK and making 4 star meals that everyone can enjoy!" My husband and I's case, up until now that is, we were going out to restaurant nuts. I can't imagine how much money we are saving by cooking our new EK 3 on our beautiful condo balcony. Best of al, the food Kooked is unbelievably better than the best of our resturants here. - Al M. We are Electric Kamado converts, from another brand electric grill, because it never get hot enough and in fact useless when it was cold or windy. We use the ceramic EK3 which is a perfect size for our apartment balcony and most importly, the thick ceramic walls keep the heat IN. Our steaks are seared to perfection! - Steve A. I received the first Electric Kamado newsletter and I want to second the statement in the cover letter..."For the hundred's of thoughts who have beautiful condos and apartments with rarely usesd balconies and terrarces with spectaular views; I sincerely hope you will consider sharing this view with your family and guests while providing the best Kooked food anywhere!" I live in Las Vegas where we have tens of thousands of condos and apartments with balconies overlooking the spectacular views of the city and strip. When I dive around town I rarely, if ever, see anyone or anything happening on their balcony. Certainly not the case on our balcony! Since I purchased an EK3, we virtually spend all of our evenings Kooking for ourselves and many new friends. The food is unique and special without doing much more than plugging the EK in. I Kook just about everything I can think of....it's great! - Mike G. I live in Europe and from the USA along with my #3. I changed my electric element from 110 volts to 200 plus volts, which is the standard here. I also added an "infinite" control switch and can now set any cooking temperature range I likel from slow and low to high temperature to char-boil steaks. I high recommend either voltage for your #3 Kamado...you will love it! - Will H. We normally don't have to do a thing but turn the electric on! It's great! There is a much better taste cooking in ceramics rather than our oven in our and all our guest's opinion. Cooking in our Electric Kamado really is "different and better." - C.H., Sacramento, CA I am a laid off union iron worker living in Las Vegas. My wife, four kids and I had to move from a big home to a fairly nice 3 bedroom apartment with a small balcony. A lifetime of BBQ grilling ended because of the restrictions on gas or charcoal grills! By some miracle, I came across Electric Kamado website and was able to purchase a #3. Wow, are we happy! We BBQ everything we can think of and more. Even though there are six of us (myself, wife, two nine year old boys and six and two year old girls) the #3 works perfect. Of course, at the rate my boys are growing and eating the larger #5 EK is about a year away. Chris N., Las Vegas, NV |
